Jobtrain Recruitment ATS
The University's recruitment Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is provided by Jobtrain.
This page provides guidance on accessing and using the system when you are involved in recruitment activity for the University of Reading.
Logging into Jobtrain
University employees follow the Hiring Manager UoR sign into ATS guide. Use your University email address and password to access the system.
For those not employed by University of Reading, follow the instructions External assessor sign into Jobtrain to log into your account on Jobtrain.
Placing an advert
Once the SRF is approved, to set up an advert of a vacancy, complete the Advert Requirements Form and send to your HR Administrator. You can find out who you need to send it to by accessing the
Online Panel shortlisting
By logging into your Jobtrain account, you can review the applications as they come in, but once the closing date has passed, the shortlisting process must be completed. Ensure that either your HR Co-ordinator or HR Administrator has been advised of the names of the Panel members so they can also be granted access to the vacancy to review the applications.

Confirming interview outcomes
After the interviews are complete and the panel are agreed on the outcome for each candidate, log into Jobtrain and follow the instructions in the Jobtrain interview outcomes and New Starter Form guide to record interview feedback on each candidate and inform HR the details of the verbal job offer you have made. A contract and offer letter will be generated and sent to the successful candidate.
