This yearly conference aims to provide teachers and advisors with general information about higher education and provide updates on changes to the application process or financial situation for your students. It offers greater insight into what Reading in particular can offer and where our courses might lead your students.

Our Students in Schools scheme has been established for over 20 years and continues to go from strength to strength. The scheme enables students to volunteer to help teachers in local schools with the aim of raising awareness of higher education, the aspirations of school pupils and their attainment.

Study Higher is a collaborative partnership between the University of Reading, University of Oxford, Bucks New University, Oxford Brookes University and six Further Education Colleges. We give impartial advice and guidance to young people in years 9 - 13, and those who support them about education opportunities.

The Reading Scholars Programme gives Year 12 students a real taste of life as a university undergraduate, providing practical support as participants begin their higher education application process. Featuring input from leading academics and current undergraduate e-mentors, the programme aims to challenge participants academically and enhance their current studies.

As well as welcoming individuals to our Open Days, school groups are also invited to join us.
We also offer campus visits which typically include a general introduction to the University, a campus tour and student life talk. Sadly, we are not currently able to offer on-campus events. However, please get in touch if you would like to bring a group onto campus later in the year.
HealthReach is a mobile outreach project designed to support access to health and life-science careers and courses. We do this by inspiring, engaging and raising awareness of the variety of career choices in the health sector.
Aimed at primary, secondary and college students, HealthReach offers interactive and experiential healthcare simulation scenarios and educational sessions, either virtually, in school or on University campus.
