Open Days offer you the chance to get a feeling for what life as a student at the University of Reading is really like.
Explore your subject area of interest by attending talks, sessions and tours of facilities, and chat to academics and current students. Experience campus life by joining tours of our accommodation and the Students’ Union. You can also attend talks on topics such as study abroad and sport and active wellbeing.

I chose Reading as I had a warm welcome on the Open Day and had a good feel for the campus, facilities and my course. I was drawn to the University's beautiful green spaces, stunning woods and lakes, and countless places to eat and study.
Taster Days
We'll be hosting taster days in April.
Immerse yourself in the subject you want to study by attending lectures and practical sessions, and meet staff and students from your department of interest.
