University of Reading appearing in news media including TV and radio

Harmful Botox treatment: Dr Darius Widera (Pharmacy) is quoted by the Daily Mail (and in print), Mail+, Knowledia, Express Digest, and other outlets warning that a new "trendy" treatment being advertised as an anti-ageing product can cause more harm than good. Read our news story.

Insect biodiversity improves: Professor Tom Oliver (Biological Sciences) is quoted by New Scientist, Germanic, VN Explorer, Dicomo Giornale, and others on research suggesting the biodiversity of insects in UK rivers has improved.

#PlanetPartners: working with global partners to protect the environment 

  • Research suggests satellites orbiting Earth can be used to improve solar storm forecasts.
