Practical experience
Learning in modern laboratory facilities, you’ll discover the core chemical and biological principles which allow the industry to develop effective medicines and personal care products, including skin creams and ointments.
In practical workshops, you’ll develop the analytical and laboratory techniques which you’ll need to test the safety and performance of cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, while developing the products yourself. Beyond the lab, you’ll have the chance to gain real-world experience by taking placements in the cosmetic industry.
