Role
Dr Katrina Bicknell is Teaching and Learning Dean with responsibility for Student Achievement.
She is the Teaching and Learning Dean working with the Schools of Biological Sciences; Chemistry, Food and Pharmacy; and Psychology and Clinical Language Sciences.
Katrina co-chairs the Sub-Committee on Student Experience and Employability, as well as being the teaching and learning lead for the University’s work on Health, Degree Apprenticeships, Personal Tutoring, Careers and Widening Participation.
She is also an Associate Professor in Cardiovascular and Regenerative Medicine in the School of Chemistry, Food and Pharmacy. Her research focuses on improving the understanding of the molecular mechanisms that limit cardiac repair following injury.
