Undergraduate Scholarships

These scholarships are available for UK fee-paying students starting an undergraduate course. There are both University of Reading funded and externally funded options available to suit your needs.

Global Sustainability Leaders Scholarship

Level: Undergraduate

Application deadline 

  • Round 1 – 23:59 on 18 January 2027
  • Round 2 – 23:59 on 22 March 2027
  • Round 3 – 23:59 on 25 June 2027
  • Round 4 – 23:59 on 27 August 2027

£6,000 a year for up to four years, for maintenance and living costs, plus exclusive scholarship development scheme.

Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship

Level: Undergraduate

Application deadline:

  • Round 1 - 31 December 2026
  • Round 2 - 31 March 2027
  • Round 3 - 30 June 2027
  • Round 4 - 20 August 2027

£5,000 tuition fee reduction per year, for international fee-payers.

Sanctuary Scholarships

Level: Undergraduate

Application deadline: Deadline for 2027 entry not yet confirmed.

Up to £5,000 per year of study, or a fee waiver plus £14,200 per year for asylum seekers with an outstanding claim

PwC Flying Start Degree Bursary

Level: Undergraduate

Application deadline: TBC — closed for 2026 entry

2027 deadline not yet confirmed.

£10,000 total, split across the four years of the BA/BSc Accounting and Business (Flying Start) degree, to support living costs
