VICE CHANCELLOR GLOBAL SCHOLARSHIP AWARD 2024/25

The Vice Chancellor Global Scholarship for September 2024/25 is now open for you to apply.

100 scholarships of £4000 each are available to international undergraduate students. Before applying for the Vice Chancellor Global Scholarships, please read our Guidance on Completing the Scholarship Application Form for useful information about the application process.

Key information:

  • These awards have been allocated to specific regions and are for international fee paying students.
  • To apply for funding, a candidate must have received an offer of admission to one our undergraduate courses for entry in the academic year 2024/25. The scholarship application form will be made available to eligible students via the me@reading applicant portal, and will be accessible up until the closing date (Friday 12 April 2024).
  • The scholarship will take the form of a tuition fee reduction of £4000 and is applied for each year of study.
  • Recipients must be classified by the University as an International student for fees purposes. 
  • Scholarships are awarded primarily based on previous academic accomplishment.

Full terms and conditions are published with the application form and in submitting a scholarship application the candidate is deemed to have read and agreed to the terms and conditions.

The distribution of awards reflects the countries from which we see the greatest demand for our courses, but means that all international fee paying students, from every region, are able to apply for a scholarship.

IFP Ambassador Scholarships

Applications for IFP Ambassador Scholarships are open to all non-sponsored, international-fee paying International Foundation Programme (IFP) students.

Built Environment Undergraduate Scholarships FOR 2024 entry

Undergraduate students joining the School of the Built Environment in 2024 may be eligible for a £1,000 scholarship for each year of study (subject to conditions for 2024 entry).

pwc flying start degree bursary

PwC are offering £10,000 bursaries to students joining the BA Accounting and Business – The Flying Start Degree Programme. The bursary is available to support living costs.

The Lorna Webber Vipond Arts Scholarship

The Lorna Webber Vipond Arts Scholarship was created following the untimely death of Lorna Webber (nee Vipond), a much-loved local artist and teacher. One scholarship of £4,000 (£1,000 for each year of study) is available to support a local UK undergraduate student studying art at the University of Reading.

University of Reading Sanctuary Scholarships

The University of Reading welcomes all students with the academic ability to succeed on our degree programmes, regardless of their background, and is committed to supporting those who face barriers to accessing university. This includes sanctuary seekers (people with refugee, humanitarian protected or asylum seeker status) who we support through our Sanctuary Scholarships scheme, which helps with the costs of higher education through bursaries and fee waivers.
