Some scholarships are awarded based on circumstances, achievements or necessity. The University of Reading and several partner organisations will accept applications from any student who meets the criteria.

The University of Reading provides a range of scholarships which are not contingent on studying a specific degree, but rather when applicants fulfil certain other criteria.

| Alumni discounts | £1,500 | University of Reading alumni | If you completed your undergraduate degree with us, you’re entitled to a discount on your master’s degree at Reading. You’ll automatically receive £1,500 off the cost of your full-time tuition fees, or if you’re a part-time student studying over two years, you'll receive a £750 discount each year. |

£10,000 | In partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, the University of Reading is offering seven scholarships of £10,000 each to students from the following countries: Bangladesh – any master’s degree China – two scholarships, any master’s degree India – LLM, MA and MRes programmes offered in the School of Law Indonesia – any master's degree Nepal – any master’s degree Singapore – any master's degree. |
