Our Open Days give you the opportunity to get a real feel for the University and explore our beautiful award-winning campus. You will meet other prospective students and hear at first-hand what life is like for Reading students. You can chat to academic staff, attend subject-specific sample lectures and find out what the teaching facilities are like.
You may want to see what support services are available at the University or take a tour around the different types of accommodation on offer. Whatever you want, our student ambassadors are on hand to answer all of your questions and show you around.
We run over 250 undergraduate courses, all of which are represented on Open Days. Choose which undergraduate courses you are interested in.

We are still accepting bookings for both the 'all day' and 'afternoon' options for our Saturday 8 October Open Day.
All available spaces have now been allocated for both our Open Days. There are excellent public transport links to the University, including free bus travel for Open Day visitors from Reading station. However, if you are unable to come by public transport there are a number of paid public car parks in the town centre you can use. To get to campus from these car parks please make your way to the train station where we will have students available to give you free tickets for the buses.
Interested in Education/Teaching or Architecture?
We’d recommend booking an all day option, allowing you time to explore the main campus and our London Road site where these courses are taught.
Can't attend an Open Day
If our remaining Open Days don't work for you or if you have visited before and just want to refresh your memory of what our beautiful campus has to offer, we'd love to welcome you to one of our campus tours.
I chose to study at the University of Reading because of the beautiful campus, supportive atmosphere and high academic standards. When I came to an open day I met a student ambassador who not only inspired me to come to the University but also made me want to become an ambassador myself!
Interested in taught postgraduate study? We host a range of postgraduate activities and opportunities throughout the year. View the Postgraduate events page for more information on our upcoming events.
