If you have previously studied at the University of Reading and are progressing to a new, higher-level programme, you may be eligible for the University of Reading Alumni Scholarship.
Award details
For students starting a Master's degree in 2027/28, the scholarship provides:
- Home fee students: 20% off tuition fees
- International fee students: £10,000 off tuition fees
Key dates
There is no separate scholarship application or deadline. Eligible students will have the scholarship applied automatically as part of the admissions process.
The scholarship is available for 2027/28 entry only and cannot be deferred to a future academic year.
Application process
The scholarship is automatically applied to eligible students, so there is no separate application required.
The scholarship is available for eligible full-time and part-time Master's programmes of at least 120 credits. Some programmes and progression routes are excluded, and eligibility depends on your fee status and previous study at the University of Reading.
- International Alumni Scholarship recipients cannot combine the award with the University of Reading Excellence Scholarship or Partner Scholarship/discount.
- Home fee recipients may be able to combine the Alumni Scholarship with other University of Reading scholarships, subject to the relevant terms and conditions.
