Find out about how we'll be delivering our courses in 2020.
Train as a physician associate at the University of Reading and prepare for a rewarding career in the health sector.
Physician associates work alongside doctors in hospitals and GP practices, supporting the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
We work closely with Health Education England Thames Valley, local primary care providers, and local Hospital Trusts to deliver our programmes.
You will be taught by practising healthcare professionals alongside academics, offering you an insight into current practice. Your training will involve:
- intensive evidence-based academic work
- hands-on workplace experience
- interaction with patients from early on in your studies.
Our programmes meet the requirements of the Department of Health's Competence and Curriculum Framework for the Physician Associate, providing you with skills that are transferable across the NHS.
