If you received an offer to study at Reading between 5 July and 7 August, we have dedicated information on how to apply for your place in halls.
Accommodation Availability
We have set aside a variety of accommodation across our Whiteknights Campus specifically for Clearing applicants.
All applicants who apply in Early Clearing (5 July to 7 August) are guaranteed a room in halls if they would like one. For applicants applying from Results Day (15 August) onwards we have already ring-fenced a range of rooms at different price points, so we will be able to offer a room to some of our main Clearing applicants, but we cannot guarantee accommodation to all.
Room allocation
The number of rooms available varies from year to year depending on the number of successful applications to the University. We have a range of options available, with currently good availability, and securing a room is likely. All accommodation will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
You cannot apply for accommodation until the University of Reading becomes your Firm choice.
We've reserved a variety of single occupancy accommodation within University Halls or one of our chosen partners. There are a variety of room types, including meal plan halls with shared bathrooms to premium en-suite self-catered rooms, suitable for a variety of budgets .
