How to connect Personal Windows device to the Managed Print Service
Using Pharos Pop-up client on Personal Windows laptop:
To install the FollowMe printers on a personal computer, Open Explorer and paste the following location path in address bar:
\\software.rdg.ac.uk\ManagedPrint\Windows\MPSFollowMe_for_Lte.exe (Only accessible on eduroam WiFi)
Alternatively, hold down the Windows key and then press R on your keyboard to open Run, paste the path location and click on Ok.
Click Yes on the dialog box, then click Install to begin installation and finally click on Finish once the installation has completed.
This will install both FollowMe-BW and FollowMe-Colour printers on your computer.
Please note: you will be asked to enter only your username, e.g, ab123456 and password every time you use one of these printers.
