University of Reading appearing in news media including TV and radio

Nepal/China floods: Within hours of news of the tragic floods in Nepal and China, Reading scientists were providing expert comment on the unfolding situation, and briefing journalists, broadcasters, aid agencies and others.   • Professor Liz Stephens (Meteorology) spoke to LBC and was quoted by, Ratopati, Daily Mail, Legit, La Derecha, The Times and over 50 other media outlets.
  • PhD researcher Dorothy Heinrich (Meteorology) was quoted by France24, NDTV, Zeta, Le Pays de France, Daily Mail and more than 100 others via AFP (Agence France Presse) about the cause of the Nepalese floods.
  • Comment by Dr Fatima Pillosu (Meteorology) were featured by ChosunBiz.

  • Professor Ian Jones (Biomedical Sciences) was quoted by Daily Mail, Medpage, The Telegraph, Streamline, commenting on the a study on shingles vaccines.
  • Professor Gunter Kuhnle (Food and Nutritional Sciences) was quoted by The Sun on matcha.
