Akshay Deoras

Asia floods: 

Dr Akshay Deoras (Meteorology, pictured) spoke to France24 (republished by MSN and WhatFinger) about recent cyclones and flooding in South Asia. The Indian Witness also featured his comments.  

Medieval soldiers: Professor Adrian Bell (ICMA Centre) co-authored an article for The Conversation on updates to a massive database detailing the lives of 290,000 medieval soldiers.  

Food and farming: 

  • Professor Gunter Kuhnle (Food and Nutritional Sciences) was quoted by Lagrada on his research into flavanol-rich food consumption. From our story: Low-flavanol diet linked to age-related memory loss 

#PlanetPartners: working with global partners to protect the environment
