University of Reading appearing in news media including TV and radio

#PlanetPartners: working with global partners to protect the environment 

  • Sky News quotes Professor Richard Allan (Meteorology) on the potential effects of the La Niña weather pattern. Republished by Heart Online, Yahoo! News, SA India Magazine, Coast FM and Smooth Radio.
  • Professor Liz Stephens (Meteorology) has co-written an article for The Conversation on mass flooding in South Sudan.
  • Professor Michaela Hegglin (Meteorology) is quoted in this FT article about the environmental impact of the pharma industry.
  • The Times features a story about Stevenson screens, citing recent research by the University. Read our news story.
  • Heart Berkshire, Smart Water Magazine, SciNexx and Lab Manager highlight research supported by the University and led by the CICERO Center for International Climate Research, which has revealed that 75% of the global population could face extreme weather risks over the next 20 years.
