University of Reading appearing in news media including TV and radio

#PlanetPartners: working with global partners to protect the environment 

  • A Forbes feature on the heavy flooding in Dubai earlier this year features comment from Professor Maarten Ambaum (Meteorology), who explains that cloud-seeding was not a factor in the extreme weather event.
  • New research by Professor Giles Harrison (Meteorology) on the accuracy of Victorian weather measurement technology is covered in Phys.org. Read our news story.
  • An article in The Hindu quotes Professor Chris Merchant (Meteorology) on a 13-month period of record global temperatures. The quotes were taken from a Conversation article written by Professor Merchant.
