The University of Reading has risen three places in the Complete University Guide 2022, which ranks Reading at 36 in the UK.
The league table, which ranks 130 UK universities in total, highlights improvements in scores for Reading around student satisfaction, entry standards and degree completion.
The guide ranks 34 subject areas at Reading, with seven subjects ranked in the top ten, and 14 in total ranked among the top 20. Highlights include:

Of the 34 subject areas listed, 19 subjects improved their position compared to 2021, 11 declined, and three remained at the same position - with one new subject ranked (Medical Technology and Bioengineering).
Professor Robert Van de Noort, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Reading, said: "Excellence in teaching, learning and research is one of our core principles and I am glad to see our focus on quality reflected in this latest league table.
"It is particularly heartening to see a range of subjects considered as among the best the country, across sciences, arts, social sciences and business.
