COVID-19: expert comment on the pandemic 

• A study by Professor Rodney Jones (English Language and Linguistics), on the masculine language used by both Boris Johnson and Donald Trump during the pandemic to make them look like strong leaders, is the focus of a Daily Mail article. The article also appears on MSN and other news sites. 

Local economy: A local councillor has praised the University's vision of bringing the film industry to Reading with the creation of Shinfield Studios, reports Wokingham Today.
