Clearing at the University of Reading:
13 August: results day, Clearing hotline opens. The lines will be open on:
- Thursday 13 August, 8:00 to 18:00
- Friday 14 August, 9:00 to 17:00
- From Monday 17 August until the end of August (working days only), 9:00 to 17:00

My instincts pointed me to Reading and I've had the best four years here. So much so that I am returning in September to begin my Master's in Applied Linguistics.
Frequently asked questions about Clearing 2026 at the University of Reading
When does Clearing 2026 open and closes?
Clearing opens on 2 July 2026 for applicants that already have their final results, and stays open until 17:00 on 5 August. After the A level embargo, Clearing will reopen on 13 August (A Level results day). The last day of Clearing will be 19 October 2026.
I am an international student. Can I apply through Clearing?
