PhD programmes at MGIMO

Ongoing research links between Reading and MGIMO led to the creation of the double PhD programme. Students can start the programme at either university and are jointly supervised by the academics from both the University of Reading and MGIMO. Time spent at each university depends on each individual project and is decided at the time of the application.

There are 25 doctoral programmes students can apply for as a part of a double PhD programme at MGIMO, although the current double PhD collaboration is mainly with Henley Business School.

If you would like to start the double PhD programme at Reading, you can submit an application online. It is advised that you contact your potential supervisor first to discuss your project and the possibility of participating in the double PhD.
