The programme is offered under the auspices of global law at Reading, the home of public international law, EU law and human rights law at Reading.

Pathways
The school intends to introduce in 2018/19 pathways in international law. Students will have the opportunity to be awarded an LLM in International Law or to specialise by choosing a pathway as per below.
All students undertaking an LLM in International Law will be required to study Introduction to International Law and Global Architecture of Crisis, Conflict, and Disaster Management, with the remainder of their credits coming from modules relating to international, global, transnational, or EU law. Depending on their choice of pathway, students will be required to study pathway-specific modules and write their dissertation on a related field.
At least TWO of the School of Law's EU law-related modules, International Criminal Law, and International Refugee Law
