I am Deputy Head of ISLI with responsibility for the recruitment of students, especially for Pre-sessional English and International Foundation Programme

I am attending recruitment events and working with agents and sponsors in the Middle East, South East & East Asia as well as advising students from around the world.
Bio
Since 1995 I have been involved in recruiting and supporting international students at the University of Reading where I obtained my MA Applied Linguistics in 1978.
I set up the In-sessional English programme and directed it till 2012. For two years I also directed the Language programme which teaches several languages.
For 21 years I worked in Arab countries including Oman, Tunisia, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE after travelling extensively in Jordan, Lebanon, Syria and Iraq.
A few personal comments
I enjoy my job very much. I also enjoy reading, walking, travelling and music. I have a particular interest in languages and global history.
