Background
Annie Duffin joined the School of Law as Widening Participation Officer in January 2022. Annie is a Learning and Development and Programme Manager specialist. Annie started her career at Unilever managing the graduate development and European training programmes, moving to a national property company where she was UK Training Manager. Following a short career break, Annie joined The Poppy Appeal as a volunteer manager and fundraiser for Berkshire. For the last 6 years, Annie has been the programme manager for the Berkshire Step Up to Social Work programme – a graduate fast track accelerated children’s social work programme. Throughout her various roles, Annie has taken part in recruitment activities from sifting application forms and CV’s, interviewing, group assessing and running face-to-face and virtual assessment centres.
