Managing a KTP Project

There are a number of different personnel within a KTP project, and a well-established Project Governance structure that covers project management, intellectual property, finances and management including leaning and development of the Associate.

Before a project can start a Collaboration Agreement must be in place between the University and the Company which sets out how any intellectual property will be managed.

The recruitment process is run by the University with input from the company and the Associate is employed by the University but predominantly based at the company.

Academic partners are expected to commit half day per week to the project.
