Keep 'fit' for your studies - Tuesdays 11.00-12.00
Taking place on most Tuesday mornings, this discussion group provides a space for you to discuss issues that can impact your doctoral research, such as managing academic pressure, discussing your research ideas with your supervisor, increasing your concentration and motivation, perfectionism, and managing procrastination. Group discussions are led by Dr Alicia Peña Bizama of the Student Wellbeing Service and take place online (via Blackboard) and on campus in the Doctoral and Researcher College. Booking is not required. Attendance does not count towards annual training requirements. To access discussion groups, meeting links can be found in the ‘Keep fit for your studies’ module in the Doctoral and Researcher College Blackboard area. You can also follow Dr Peña Bizama’s X account. Previous discussion topics can be viewed on the Keep fit for your doctoral studies blog. For further information please e-mail Dr Peña Bizama.
