In this research-intensive course, you'll undertake a dissertation or practical project in your specialist subject (film, theatre or television) with one-to-one supervision. Or, you may choose a project that addresses more than one of our three disciplines. You'll also select two taught modules.

Your future career

MA Creative Enterprise is designed to provide you with the tools to undertake entrepreneurial projects in the creative industries.

The theatre pathway will help you develop a career in theatre management or production, or set up your own theatre company.

The film pathway is ideal if you want to forge a career as a filmmaker, producer, director, programmer or arts and culture manager, or work in applied film research. 

The MA by Research course will develop your independent research and writing skills, which is ideal preparation for PhD study and self-directed research.

Fees, funding and scholarships

There is a variety of funding support available to our master’s students.

UK/EU students can receive government loans to help towards tuition fees and living costs. You may also be eligible for other grants and bursaries.

Both UK/EU and international students can apply for a range of scholarships. Our scholarships are awarded based on previous academic achievement.
