Our courses

Our BA Fine Art degrees ensure you gain the knowledge and skills you need to make an effective contribution to the art world.

We also offer joint courses, which allow you to study two subjects in detail and gain a full qualification in each.

Why study with us?

As well as producing world-famous artists, Turner Prize nominees and representatives for Britain at the Venice Biennale, we equip students to be highly employable in a wide range of fields.

You’ll have opportunities to develop your creative vision and gain a range of practical skills.

Watch what some of our students have to say about their experiences.

Vervina's story

BA Fine Art student, Vervina Henry
"My time at Reading has helped to develop me into an artist that is confident to explore other media: film, photography, performance and to combine them all, layer them together and see what the results are."
