Coming soon: our new School of Art building
The School of Art will be moving into a new building from September 2023 meaning you’ll be our first cohort of first years to experience the new space and facilities. The space includes a 3D workshop area where students can use plaster, clay and other sculptural materials and a 2D workshop area with print-making facilities where students can screen print and relief print. The department are also looking at spaces for 3D Printing, CNC and laser cutting access, dark room for photography, a spray booth, wood workshop, and metal workshop.
The building is central to our Whiteknights campus making it easy to visit student services, the Library, the major food outlets, and our Film and Theatre space in Minghella studios. Work has already started, and you can watch developments over the coming months on our Instagram page.
