Arriving by car

If you are coming from the direction of Reading or the M4

Leave or cross over the M4 at Junction 11 and initially head south down the A33. Take the first left into Three Mile Cross and follow the Basingstoke Road over the first mini-roundabout.

Continue through Three Mile Cross and towards Spencer's Wood; at which point turn left onto the B3349 Hyde End Road and keep going until you reach Langley Mead’s car park on your right – if you reach Shinfield itself you have gone too far.

If you are coming from the Wokingham or Arborfield direction

Join the A327 towards Shinfield at Arborfield or Arborfield Cross. Travel over the River Loddon and then turn left at the roundabout in Shinfield onto the B3349 Hyde End Road. Keep going until you reach Langley Mead’s car park on your left. If you reach Spencer's Wood you have gone too far.

If you are coming from the Basingstoke direction

Leave the A33 just before you reach the M4 – you’ll need to be in the right-hand filter lane signposted for Spencers Wood and Three Mile Cross.

Follow the Basingstoke Road through Three Mile Cross and over the first mini roundabout towards Spencers Wood; at which point turn left onto the B3349 Hyde End Road and keep going until you reach Langley Mead’s car park on your right – if you reach Shinfield itself you have gone too far.
