Having spent your first year studying in the School of the Built Environment at the University of Reading Malaysia, we welcome you to study at our Whiteknights campus in Reading, UK.

You can apply to transfer onto Part 2 of our BSc Quantity Surveying course, which is accredited by the Board of Quantity Surveyors Malaysia (BQSM), the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and the Chartered Institute of Building.

You have the flexibility to either opt for a mobility pathway, where you spend one year in the UK during your second year of studies before returning to Malaysia for the final year, or a transfer pathway, where you complete both your second and third years studying in the UK.

Entry requirements

To be eligible for study in Reading, you must pass your Part 1 studies in Malaysia without resits.

You may wish to undertake a placement in the UK as part of your degree. We encourage and support our students to take placements, for example during the summer vacation, to gain further insight and experience of working in the construction industry.
