Excellence in research

In the latest Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2014, 83% of the University of Reading's research in Architecture, Built Environment and Planning is rated world leading (4*) or internationally excellent (3*).

Teaching opportunities

We'll support you to develop your teaching skills and gain experience that will prepare you for a career in academia. We offer opportunities to teach on undergraduate modules and supervise undergraduate projects in the School.

 

As a doctoral student at Reading, you can also attend the Graduate School's Preparing to Teach programme at no extra cost.
