Your application

To apply for a place on our Master of Architecture, you will need to submit an application and a sample portfolio directly to the University of Reading via our online application system.

Please note that you will be required to submit a sample portfolio with your application.

More information on how to apply

Required qualifications

We require a 2:2 or higher on a Part 1 ARB validated (prescribed) award to be considered.

If you hold a qualification obtained outside the EU, or a non-recognised UK qualification, you will need to pass ARB's own Prescribed Examination at the relevant level, to be eligible for this programme.

Information about the procedures and eligibility criteria for ARB examination at Part 1 are available on the ARB website.

Your portfolio

Your portfolio should show evidence of your creative ability, problem-solving skills, architectural knowledge and potential for postgraduate study.

We would normally require you to provide a sample portfolio when you submit your online application.
