Areas of interest
Having worked in both developmental speech and language impairments and autism, Helen's current clinical work takes her into early years settings to work with the under fives.
Helen teaches on a wide range of clinical modules, across the year groups of students on the MSc and BSc Speech and Language Therapy programmes.
Helen coordinates the "Child Development Assignment" and convenes the clinical modules for first year BSc students on both the Speech and Language Therapy and the Language Science and Psychology programmes. As part of the large team of clinical tutors, she offers support and training to placement educators, as well as her teaching and clinical commitments.
Helen qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist at the University of Reading.
