Areas of interest

My main area of interest is in the field of corpus linguistics. I am currently investigating the impact of Study Abroad programmes on the language skills of translation students. Secondary lines of research include second language acquisition, learning contexts and language of instruction.

Teaching

I convene and teach a Spanish post-beginner module (LA1PS2-IWLP SPANISH 2).

I co-teach a second-year Spanish language module (SP2L4; SP3L4).

Research centres and groups

I am a member of the research group “Communicative and Intercultural Skills in Foreign Language” (University of Valladolid) and a collaborator of the research project “PaGeS 2.0. Optimization of a Multifunctional Resource for Language Learning, Translation and Linguistic-Contrastive Research” (University of Santiago de Compostela).
