Health & Safety Coordinators play a vital role in supporting safe working, teaching, research, and learning environments. This course provides the knowledge, practical skills, and confidence needed to support effective health and safety management within Schools, Departments, and Directorates. You'll gain an understanding of the University's health and safety framework and learn how to contribute to risk management, incident prevention, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

Who Should Attend?

This course is mandatory for all Health & Safety Coordinators and is recommended for:

• New Health & Safety Coordinators
• Current Health & Safety Coordinators requiring some refresher training

Participants are encouraged to familiarise themselves with local health and safety arrangements and bring an example risk assessment for discussion.
