Automated External Defibrillator

The University has provided Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs) at key locations on the main campus and at London Road and Greenlands campuses. Security Services also has a mobile AED available which can be deployed as necessary. The majority of units are the public access type iPadS2 and have voice commands to assist in their operation. University Policy is that trained first aiders use the AEDs and receive annual refresher training in their use and in CPR.
