Background

I have a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Law from Sichuan Agricultural University (China). During my undergraduate studies I worked with the University of Leiden (Netherlands) on research "Responses of microbial carbon metabolism and function diversity in heavy metal contaminated soil after washing with biodegradable chelators". I was involved in a soil treatment programme for agricultural land in northern Sichuan Province, prior to commencing my PhD. I am very interested in the remediation and restoration of contaminated soils.
