Briefing Session for new External Examiners
The Centre for Quality Support and Development runs a briefing session for external examiners who are new to the University of Reading. It provides an opportunity to visit the campus and ask any questions you may have, and learn about the role of an external examiner and the assessment policies and procedures we use at Reading.
External Examiners for professional programmes who are drawn from outside of the Higher Education sector might particularly wish to attend this session, but it is also recommended if you are new to external examining.
New External Examiners will be contacted via email once details of briefing sessions for 2024 are available.
