External examiner annual reports
External Examiner Annual Reports are a really important aspect of our quality assurance.
When you submit your report, please also complete a Fees and Expenses Claim Form. We use this to pay your external examiner fee so you must fill it in and submit it with your annual report, even if you do not need to claim any expenses.
Please note that your Annual Report will be made available to relevant staff and students and it will also be accessible under the Freedom of Information Act (2000). If you wish to raise issues in stricter confidence, in addition you may send a confidential report to the Vice-Chancellor.

Please download and complete your Annual Report after the final exam board has taken place. Your fee is only payable on receipt of your annual report:

How to submit your report
Please email your completed forms either in Word, PDF or ODT format, along with the fees/expenses claim form, to examiners@reading.ac.uk. If you have expenses receipts to attach, you may prefer to post your forms to: Exams Team, University of Reading, G29, JJ Thomson Building, Whiteknights Campus, Reading, RG6 6AF.
