Placement Coordinator
Responsible for placement modules:EC130, EC230, PO1PLA and PO2PLA.
Running one-to-one student appointments, building effective relationships and trust with students, targeted emails, online and face to face sessions, and structured monitoring of progress.
Maintaining relationships with placement providers and support them in the recruitment and selection process.
Promoting school programmes at open and visit days, through talks to large audiences, one to one conversations and interactive workshops.

I’m a part qualified management accountant that has experience working for law firms after leaving university. I worked as a management accountant for 12 years before leaving the profession and going back to university to complete a PGCE in primary education. After 10 years and completing 2 years as an assistant headteacher, I transferred my teaching skills at the university to advise students and run workshops on employability.
