Areas of interest
I’m interested in developing growth mindset intervention in Schools. Growth mindset refers to the belief that abilities, intelligence and talents can be developed over time through the use of effective strategies and persistence. This belief has a well-documented positive impact on learning outcomes and student well-being. My research explores the conditions under which growth mindset interventions can be implemented effectively and at scale in school settings.
Background
After completing a PhD in Social Psychology in Hong Kong, I undertook two years of postdoctoral training in New York City before moving to Singapore, where I focused on university teaching. In 2018, I returned to Hong Kong to join a positive education intervention programme, before relocating to the UK in 2022. Alongside teaching and research, I have delivered growth mindset workshops for students and colleagues and served as a Peer Support Teaching Coach, sharing pedagogical approaches and supporting colleagues in their teaching practice.
