The Department of Crop Science is part of the School of Agriculture, Policy and Development, which is made up of five academic departments. Our departments work collaboratively to deliver teaching and research across the School.
Explore how agriculture may address the global challenges and opportunities of agricultural intensification and environmental sustainability, particularly in the tropics and subtropics.
This flexible programme also offers a horticulture pathway.
Prepare for a research career in the agricultural and agri-environment sectors. Work with researchers across our school to build a multidisciplinary understanding of contemporary agricultural challenges, gain rigorous training in research methods, and design an extended research project focused on the questions that you are passionate about.
Scholarships are available for master's students, and are offered directly by the University and others allocated by external funding bodies. To apply, a candidate must have received an offer of admission to one of our participating master's courses.
