Travel Policy

The new Travel Policy came into effect from 1 August 2023 and should be read by all travellers prior to making any bookings or travelling. The policy provides guidance on how travel arrangements should be made for staff and student travel and also includes measures to reduce business flights and encourage colleagues to consider the carbon footprint of all their travel decisions.

Sustainable Travel Principles

The Travel policy is based on the set of Sustainable Travel Principles published in 2022 and developed with input from a range of colleagues and the Students’ Union. 

Expenses Policy

Certain travel-related costs can be paid directly by staff and claimed back via expenses. Please ensure that you read the Expenses Policy prior to incurring any costs.
