Code of Conduct
The Learning Resource Centre (LRC) is a shared study space for students and staff. We ask all users to help maintain a quiet, respectful and supportive study environment.
Respect the study environment
Please be considerate of other LRC users and help maintain a suitable environment for study.

Keep noise to a minimum.

Keep mobile phones on silent mode while in the LRC. If you need to make or receive a call, please do so outside the LRC.

Use headphones when listening to audio and ensure the sound cannot be heard by others.
Food and drink
Food is not permitted in the LRC. The only exceptions are bottled water or drinks in sealed or lidded containers.
You may be asked to remove any food or uncovered drinks from the study areas.
Use of LRC materials and facilities
Please treat all LRC materials, equipment and facilities with care.

Do not write, highlight or underline in books.

Do not damage or remove LRC materials improperly.

Follow the University's IT regulations and acceptable use policies when using computers and digital services.
Respect others

Treat LRC staff and other users with courtesy and respect.

Follow instructions from LRC staff where necessary to maintain a suitable study environment.
