Scope

Full-text articles in journals published by Elsevier from 1995 to the present, covering sciences, economic and social science, and some arts and humanities titles.

We also have access to older articles from 1896 onwards in the following subjects:

  • agricultural and biological sciences
  • economics, econometrics and finance
  • environmental science
  • social sciences

We also have access to a large number of e-books and reference works which have been individually purchased.

You can save your references to EndNote in the following ways:

To export one reference at a time into EndNote online, follow these steps:

  1. After selecting the reference you wish to download, click Export Citation.
  2. Click Export Citation to RIS.
  3. Save the file as a RIS document.
  4. Import the file into EndNote online using the ScienceDirect Import option.

If you are exporting more than one reference, you will need to find your articles through the Advanced Search function.

  1. After selecting the references you wish to download, click Export.
  2. Choose the following option:
    - Export file: RIS (for EndNote, Reference Manager, ProCite)
  3. Click Export.
  4. Save the file as a RIS document.
  5. Import the file into EndNote online using the ScienceDirect Import option.
