One-to-one advice
If you have questions about developing your study practices, the first place to look is our guides and videos.
However, if you cannot find the answers you need, or if you would benefit from discussing your work in more detail, you may find it helpful to have an individual session with one of our professional advisers.
These 30-minute sessions are tailored to your individual needs and are completely confidential. We will not share any information discussed with your tutors or other support services unless you give us permission to do so.
Our advice sessions are informal, one-off meetings designed to support your academic development. We aim to help you strengthen your study skills and work more effectively. While we will not correct work for you, we will guide you in understanding how to improve it yourself. As everyone works differently, we may suggest a range of approaches so that you can find what works best for you.
