The Institution-Wide Language Programme (IWLP) offers modules in 10 languages from beginner to intermediate level. You can take these alongside your degree if you are a student, or alongside work if you are a member of staff.

Languages we teach

You can choose to learn Arabic, British Sign Language, Chinese (Mandarin), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Modern Greek, Russian or Spanish.

How to apply

Anyone who works or studies at the University is welcome to study a language with the IWLP. Modules can be taken as part of a degree or alongside work.
