Centenary website

2026 is the University of Reading’s centenary year, marking 100 years since we were granted a Royal Charter.

We are celebrating this momentous milestone by connecting our community, our actions, and our impact through a series of events throughout the year.

Support the Centenary Fund

For over a century, donors have been making a difference to every aspect of university life.

Find out how a gift to the Centenary Fund will support the Outdoor Learning Garden and the Beyond 100 Bursary, making an impact that will be felt far into the future.

Alumni weekend

Throughout the Centenary Community Festival weekend, we will also be hosting exclusive alumni activities, including a lunch reception, pub quiz and afternoon tea.

All alumni are welcome, with the chance to reminisce over shared history and celebrate the centenary together.
