Background
I hold a BA in Archaeology from the University of Strasbourg (France) and an MSc in Archaeological Science, with a specialization in Osteoarchaeology, from Leiden University (the Netherlands). My MSc dissertation used the syndemic framework to study the link between tuberculosis and vitamin D deficiency in post-medieval populations from England and the Netherlands. Before starting my PhD, I also gained hands-on experience in ancient DNA lab work at the Centre for Palaeogenetics at Stockholm University.
